One of Birmingham‘s most famous street food events has descended into Longbridge for its debut in the area.
Digbeth Dining Club, which takes place every Friday and Saturday in Digbeth has descended onto Longbridge Town Centre for the first time on Saturday 12 August 2017.
There were vendors who provided fresh, vibrant street food that brought the heart of Digbeth to the former MG Rover production plant from 11am – 6pm.
As there were lots of stalls to choose from, I decided to stick to my love of curry and try a butter chicken dish with rice from The Indian Rasoi vendor.
At £7, you could not go wrong for a butter chicken curry with rice that was of a high standard. I was told that the butter chicken itself did not have any cream added to it which made it very satisfying and not too heavy in flavour.
That is definitely a new take on butter chicken which worked to perfection and I will take note of that whenever I cook any butter curry going forward!
If you consider going to the Digbeth Dining Club in its usual home of Digbeth, then it takes place every Friday and Saturday from 4pm – midnight.
